But now the problem is while restarting the service of xrdp some of our users connected sessions are getting terminate. 14-06-2017 · I agree that it would be nice to be able to customize the logon screen, though settings. I did a work around and replaced the ad24b and xrdp24b files in the /usr/share/xrdp folder. Its a crud method, but it did the trick.

on the log in screen with the xrdp box when you first connect to the remote desktop there should be a drop down box, from here choose "vnc-any" then input the ip address of the computer and the password but leave the port at what it is, this should help :) Share. Improve this answer.
