03-04-2011 · in my environment, many users have different logon scripts based on what department or location they are in. in the event their logon script doesnt run properly, i have them run this script. it looks them up in the active directory, finds their login script and reruns it. very simple and very convenient.

If your computer is domain joined then it's going to process group policy on a regularly occurring basis automatically.
